Suraj Bhan DAV Public School,Vasant Vihar celebrated the festival of Lohri,  which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the hard winters .
The celebrations commenced with chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and lighting of bonfire .
The students of junior wing of the school explained its significance , sang and danced to the quintessential tunes of Lohri .The Principal, Dr Anita Ahuja , wished everyone on this and upcoming harvest festivals.Everyone prayed and hoped for all the negativity to end in the Lohri fire.It was a cheerful and enthralling celebration .
